Alyssa Shorstein has been drafting estate plans and handling probate/trust administrations for clients since 2009 when she opened her own firm. At the University of Florida Law School, she earned an additional Certificate in the area of Estates & Trusts Practice. For Estate Planning, Alyssa works with her clients to create a plan that works the best for each client’s needs. In her initial consultation, she will explain the different estate plan options, and after getting to know the individual’s circumstances and wishes provides her opinion on what would best suit the individual’s needs. Once the client selects the plan of their choosing, then we schedule their review and signing appointments. Alyssa does an in-depth review of each document before sending them home with you to review on your own. She ensures that you understand and are confident in your plan before you sign them. - Probate/Trust Administration
If a loved one has passed away and there are assets in their individual name or in their trust’s name, then those assets will need to be properly administered, or passed on, to the beneficiaries.
